Non-pretentious, no undesirable odor of fish, fish is super fresh, shorts & tee shirts vibe. No longer in Gulfgate but on Reynolds the first left south next to Texaco station. Ask for Tonia. Parking: Lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, all ground level, plenty of space.
Greek salad and a slice of pepperoni pizza that has no equal. Pizza is perfect and salad was better (how can salad be better than pizza?)
We loved the original location. Went there for several years. We were thrilled to see the new incarnation so we checked it out. Ambiance is lacking. Menu was sparse (only 3 fish options). No cocktails. Honestly we’ll go back but not nearly as frequently. The chef still does an amazing job with the seafood. We’re really hoping that they can build it back up to where it was. Maybe if more people start going they’ll get back to where they were, which was our favorite seafood restaurant in SRQ.
Best crab cakes I have ever had. The chef focuses on a limited menu and makes everything to perfection. Will definitely be back.
My first time here...food was excellent;the service great . Highly recommend this place for a relaxed night.
I guess they are trying... just not quite what the original was. Took dessert to go, they failed to add the homemade whipped cream.... Sadly, I don't need to go back.
We have always go to Off the Hook for a seafood dinner‼️. It is the freshest fish with different sauces. They will always let you know what sauce will go the best with the fish‼️. I always get the piccata sauce. It is light & always great. You will never be disappointed‼️. It is local owned & always a different fish each day depending on what they caught‼️‼️
