Off The Hook Raw Bar & Grill

I am usually very pleased by the food at this place. I mostly get the lobster Mac and cheese every time I order from here. However, today I decided to get out of my comfort zone and get the lobster roll. I was very disappointed to see that there was barely any lobster and that most of it was bread and chips. I am very dissatisfied to have paid 30 dollars for mostly bread. Unfortunately I placed my order through the phone and did not check my food until I got home. See the attached pictures for a better understanding of what I mean. To leave this on a positive note, the Yuca fries were very good.

Takeout review: Hit and miss. My wife and I ordered a number of things from their menu for her birthday (newborn baby means we had to eat a home). We ordered steamed snow crab legs, baked clams, tuna nachos, beet salad with goat cheese and a side of mac and cheese. The clams were very good, tuna nachos were solid, beet salad was as advertised and the mac and cheese was decent. The main disappointment was the crab legs, which we based the whole meal around. They were so over steamed that the meat was totally shredded, dry and sticking to the shells. Barely edible, which was surprising considering this is a seafood restaurant.

Service war fast schon gruselig. Einen Gast fragt man definitiv nicht ob er das Dessert von seinem 3-Gang Menü To Go haben möchte. Sektgläser wurden so voll gemacht wie ein Bierglas und Service wusste nicht wie man die Cavaflasche überhaupt aufmacht. Ich habe noch nie so schlechte Austern gegessen, vielleicht waren sie schlecht oder B-Ware??? Hauptgänge ok Insgesamt kann ich das Restaurant nicht empfehlen

This is our go to raw bar. Each time we visit we try a different dish, and so far everything has been so good. The red sangria is a must try! It is my personal favorite. And don’t forget Monday oyster happy hour! A dollar for each oyster!

We had an amazing Christmas Eve dinner here with our family. We ordered all their best seafood dishes - raw platter, crab legs, calamari, lobster, crab guacamole, fluke, salmon. Everyone is my family is Asian and very picky about seafood, and it was all very fresh and amazingly delicious. The drinks were really good too - my wife usually downs mojitos at other places very quickly, but she couldn’t even finish her second one here because they were made with top shelf liquor. The service was also warm, excellent and attentive. We def plan on coming back!

The food and cocktails are excellent. I’ve been here for a casual dinner and for New Years and it’s been a great experience both times
