I’m always seeking out late night randomness. Recently saw a video from Julian of @mubereats and he did NOT lie….this cart is AMAZING! Took a smelly Lyft to get over here and as soon as I stepped out of the car I was immediately intoxicated by the lovely smells of this halal cart…little did I know I was about to follow the exact directions on their branded bags and on their cart: Smell it. See it. Eat it! I did all the things! Tried the combo with half spicy rice and half yellow rice and also the kofta. Got the white sauce, hot sauce, and the green sauce. Sauce combo right here is everything!!! The cube falafel and the cut up pita rounded out the meal for the evening! My brother said it best…the seasonings were so on point we could taste their heritage! So flavorful and so delicious! Loved the included veggies also…cucumber and green olives make for a fun texture and extra yumminess. Will definitely come visit again!
This guys very bad and not fix the price
This is my fiancé’s and I’s favorite place to grab dinner in Astoria! Very reasonably priced, super friendly staff and DELICIOUS food. Their spicy rice with chicken kofta is to die for and the assortment of veggies they have is one-of-a-kind (olives, corn, lettuce, onions, tomatoes ). One word of advice - I love spicy and their spicy rice with the red sauce is a little much so I tend to go for one or the other depending on my mood but you can’t go wrong here.
best halal food in astoria
A gem of a food truck serving halal classics. The flavor is fantastic, the price is right, and the people are wonderful. Vegetarian options: There is falafel, but if you’re picky about the cook surface being meat-free, then I don’t know why you’re ordering from a food truck Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the sidewalk, and the window is a little high, but not out of reach
Une très belle expérience, une explosion de saveurs ,
