I had gone here late at night (around 10pm) for a quick bite and chat with a friend of mine. We were seated fairly quickly and the waiter came by with our order and drink quickly as well. We had even met with the owner, John who invited us to stay for a little longer past closing! It was a very nice experience and I will definitely be coming back again. John was such a nice person to talk to and would definitely treat you right.
I didn't get to take photos of all of our food, but we ordered a lot. I went with a group of 11 people for a birthday dinner. We had 2 types of fried chicken, galbi, tonkatsu, corn cheese, japchae, 2 types of tteokbokki, and a dozen bottles of soju. Everything was delicious. I would love to come back. Parking: Multiple spots available both on 18th and on Taraval near the restaurant.
The chicken was tough, and had small bone shards throughout. Absolutely unacceptable for the price. Avoid at all costs, guys. There's better options.
When around the Sunset District at nite and u want a little upbeat Soju Bar where u can hang, have a few bites, check out the young sexy avenue men and women, this is a go to place. It's more a younger group but u will be suprise to see some uncle and aunties downing soju and beer after dark. HEHEHE. John the owner is a great chef and once u know him is super friendly and so customer orientated. The place can be happening Thur to Sun nites and just a quick reminder, They close Tuesdays and they only open for dinner. The most convenient thing is Safeway on 18th and Taraval is right across the street and they are only a block from the famous 19th Ave. Guys please look up their menu and go check it out.
chicken was so tender and juicy :)
Solid Korean food at a solid price. My friend got the spicy tofu soup and I got the seafood bibimbap. Very filling and had leftovers. Also got bulgogi fries and they had nacho cheese on top which I love
The soy & garlic and supreme chicken are both absolutely delicious. The “sprinkles” is powdered cheese that tastes like off-brand Cheeto dust.
