Great staff best beer in town always good food and service. Jimmy
Great 1st visit for my wife and I, which was for the 20th Anniversary celebration of having Pliny the Younger in existence, ~ our first of many tastings.
First time here inside, had no clue ! I was here about 6 months ago during lunch while my car was being serviced. Sat outside. Had a waitress. We came in tonight stood at the counter for over 5 minutes with no saluting whatsoever for the blonde lady not the brunette. I asked if we just sat ourselves. She stated that we order here and someone would be with us when they were able. It was a snappy tone. Finally a gentleman came up and asked what we wanted. We had no idea we needed to order on the spot. The food was bland. No seasoning. It’s just beyond me that you have customers standing at the door for 15 minutes waiting to get a refill because when the person who is getting their drink is chatting away for 5 minutes. We tried, but not a place unless you plan on getting flat out drunk
One of the best beer bars in San Diego! Definitely come here if you want amazing beer, service and food!
Unpretentious but well-respected craft beer pub. A "who's who" of craft beer spots. Also surprisingly good bar food. If you think you are a San Diego craft beer aficionado, and you haven't put your time in at O'Briens, then you're not who you think you are, frankly. Parking: If you're willing to walk a bit, park on Opportunity, west of O'Briens. If not, good luck.
Always a large and interesting selection of brews with great food specials
Obrien's is fantastic. The food is amazing - never had a bad meal here. The atmosphere and community is also great. No better place to watch a US Soccer match! Plus Fridays are awesome dog nights. Can't say enough good things!
