Lobster, lobster & corn chowder soup and Shrimp Louie Salad what a feast!!
Really good food and great location, and big outdoor seating in Burlingame.
Oh the crab sandwich. Regretted getting the half one! Should have got the full! And the shrimp bucket was chef kiss! Good food good vibes!
This place is good, charming atmosphere and quick service. However for the price you are paying the lobster roll is just ok. The roll tastes more of the buttered bread. You have to really focus on the taste to find the flavor of the lobster. The chips that came with it were rather bland as well. Really the only well flavored item was the coleslaw, which was delightful. The portion size was decent, but for a price of $40 I want it to taste just a bit better.
Very crowded eatery but lots of seating. The lobster corn chowder soup was sooo good! The crab nachos were delicious. My naked lobster roll was better than I’d even imagined . Highly recommend this place even if it is a bit “spendy”. Great service
This is a solid Three stars. The food was fresh but the cost is outrageously high. I had the naked lobster sandwich and a small bowl ( cup) of clam chowder. The chowder was rich and creamy and red but I didn’t see any lobster bits in it. Mainly corn. I think I the name comes from the fact that they use the shells to create a broth to make the bisque. The Sandwich had a good amount of bits of lobster, but because I ordered the naked one, it was not dressed next time I will definitely order the dressed sandwich. The chips were excellent.
Dumb expensive but best lobster I've had West of the Mississippi. If you don't mind paying $40 for a sandwich and you're craving lobster like they have in New England this is your spot.
