庶民のソウルフード「バッチョイ」 豚ホルモンの麺料理♫ ニンニク効いてます!
Big change this not like before
Netong’s serves as a pride of Iloilo where batchoy still taste as authentic as before. The Batchoy mixture was originally concocted in 1930s with a mixture of broth, noodles, beef, and pork following its name, Batchoy which means “pieces of meat” in Chinese. Eventually, the soup evolved into its present form which is being enjoyed both by the locals and tourists in the area.
Since La Paz market is closed temporarily (as of Jan. 2024) for renovation, Netongs (and all other shops/Batchoyans) in it have moved beside construction area. Took some time to figure out where it was. You can really see how a popular noodle brand tried to mimic the taste but La Paz Batchoy reigns supreme.
