Estafadores / Scammers / Arnaque They charged us $260 for one aperol spritz, one virgin cocktail and one “house special” that was five pieces of ham. Absolutely horrific and abusive. Avoid this place. Let’s run it to the ground where it belongs.

Another look at me crowd kind of a restaurant. I was forced to come here because of business clients who wanted to dine here. Undead botox infused fake degenerates of the society sipping on overpriced wine and food relishing their bygone eras of 80s and 90s sets the vibe for this has-been celebrity hangout as dead as the founder of the namesake restaurant itself. Pompous lowlife waitstaff begging for hefty tips are palpable in the air. Average food and atrociously bad vibes abound.

Not worth it. You’re paying to be in Madison Avenue in the upper east essentially. Everything is about 30% more than it should be. Food is not bad, but not mind blowing either. The red teddy bears are genius marketing though

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Our recent experience at Nello was a lesson in upselling gone wrong. Despite the food being of good quality, the waiter’s tactics left a bitter taste. We were pressured into ordering the most expensive dish worth $200 known as (truffle pasta )which didn’t meet our expectations. The eagerness for a tip was palpable, yet once received, the waiter’s interest waned. While the food is worth a try, be wary of the high-pressure sales tactics.” Please don’t waste your money here. Their only purpose is to make money out of you. That’s it.. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Food is overly expensive and does not match its quality with price. Really, you can get similarly good food in most Italian restaurants. Many things on the menu are not available. Not recommend

Very poor quality extremely bad service When i visited we went to the washroom and when we came back they changed our table !!!! Way Over priced for the normal quality of food

The place is beautiful first of all! The food was amazing it was a nice portion of food and grateful amount of meats. The tiramisu was amazing how ever for $21? Dessert small portion nonono it was good bit i had 1 at 12$it was even a better portion. I have never seen such a pricie looking menu of my life start at 37 goimg up even holding it was expensive! What i spended in this restaurant i could go twice to a good testaurent for amazing food! I scored almost $90, i have no problem paying bit you laying more for the fact that it os a rich area Madison you get it? Bit the food was good staff nice on service clean! Bit there is better option

Good quality however absolutely overpriced. Waiter suggests today's plates which are not included in the menu…ask for cost prior selecting any of these plates or else you ‘ll be surprised later!!! 129$ for a spaghetti??? Finally note that gratuity is not an option on this restaurant…20% by dafault!
