We were here because we could get reservations on a Friday before a comedy show at Hard Rock. Outstanding salmon in my Caesar salad. My husband thought his grouper sandwich was excellent. Our server, Kyle, was super: friendly, accommodating, kind. Beaucoup sports on TV. Kinda loud but 2nd floor noise level is tolerable.
Victor was great and gave wonderful recommendations!!
I came in a Sunday 5:00pm wasn't any busy, the attention was terrible, we order the nachos (good but just a sparkles of chili), My husband and I order different burger both terrible absolutely disgusting no flavor at all and super dry 0/10
We did a VIP tour experience and Victor was the best server! So attentive and kind. Would definitely come here again!
TL;DR - this was an acceptable four apart from one specific, but important moment in our visit. We arrived on time and found our table was quickly available. At our request, they found us a place where we could watch the NCAA final. Our server was very pleasant and our appetizer (wings) was indeed tasty. They brought our main course though while we were still eating our wings, which I guess is what you expect in a high volume restaurant but I don’t like it much. Our mains themselves, varied. Roast beef dip probably above average, Bang Bang chicken was basically a curry rather than the spicy bang-bang you might be familiar with and the slow cooked chicken Cobb was rather disappointing. So, overall on the above I would say, perhaps a little generously, it’s a four, more because it will likely meet your expectation for what it is rather than excel. But, the real kicker for me was happened at the end of the night. So, the game continued to 11.30 and thankfully, they remained open (bar shuts at ten) for the 50 or so people that were watching. I guess they didn’t have to and in recognizing that, I’m grateful for the them doing so and helping create the atmosphere that makes a sport bar fun. BUT, they turned off the screens and sound with 8 seconds to go. WHAT!? I asked the manager on the way out and he said “15 points up and 8 seconds the go - you know who won”. Honestly, this flabbergasted me coming from the manager of a sports bar. The whole point is about the experience of cheering for your team and feeling the swings of the game. It’s not about knowing who won, it’s about watching the final moment and reveling with your team in their delight and victory and then storming the field, or consoling with them on their defeat. To make such a decision for the sake of 8 seconds (I really mean 8 seconds) seems so churlish and unnecessary as well as a foolish decision for a business owner. Maybe there were other circumstances but it certainly made me lose faith in NBC Sports Grill & Brew.
The food was so yummy i had the bufalo mac&cheese and it was SUPER good the bufalo chicken bites had a little Spice and the mac&cheese was SUPER creamy and cheese . (GO too this place for yummy food :) run RUN!!
At NBC Sports Grill & Brew in Universal CityWalk, the wings were perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sauce, delivering a satisfying kick without overpowering the flavor. The French dip was a delightful surprise, boasting tender slices of beef tucked into a soft baguette, accompanied by a savory au jus for dipping. Both dishes showcased quality ingredients and skillful preparation, making for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a sports enthusiast or simply seeking delicious food, NBC Sports Grill & Brew delivers on both fronts.
