We came here for Valentines dinner. Even though we were the last to show up (for our reservations at 9) and the last to leave, we were still treated with exceptional customer service! Yummy food and great wine! We will certainly come back when we visit Atlanta again! Thanks, from Texas!

Nakato is always delicious. Fresh fresh fish and great service. The sushi part is usually empty so not the best vibes but perfect for a quiet and delicious dinner. You must try the crispy rice!!

I loved my time here! It’s a bit on the pricy side, but it’s worth it nonetheless! We got a private room and it’s definitely worth the extra money. The service was great and the lady who took our order answered every question we had! 10/10 experience. Best birthday dinner I’ve ever had!

Nakato was my first Japanese food and restaurant experience in ATL, so I didn't know what to expect. I came in with an open mind getting Asian food in ATL and was pleasantly surprised. My friends made a reservation at 8 pm on a Saturday night. I would highly recommend making reservations as the place was packed. Parking was fairly limited around the restaurant, but there was fortunately complimentary valet parking. As busy as it was, we didn't have to wait too long at the bar for our table. The service here was quick, and the food was good. Food portions were decent, too. I got the $80 kaisen-don, a deluxe version of Chirashi. It was good, but there was a lot more rice than fish for the upgraded cost. One member of our group got the $60 sukiyaki. The amount of food that came out for that dish could easily feed 2 ppl- so be warned lol. Everyone else either got rolls or the combination dinners, all of which were good proportions. If you're looking for an upscale mainstream Japanese restaurant in ATL, Nakato definitely fits the bill. However, if you are looking for more authentic Japanese foodie experience, I'd look elsewhere.

Waitress was pleasant. Food was definitely overpriced. Can’t say that we will be back.
