Wow!! Caitlin (spelling?)Could be the best hospitality personality in Atlanta! She needs her own late night talk show. Simply amazing! She is the neighborhood gem. Murphy's got it right on so many levels. Having a vibrant Caitlin run the front office is brilliant! Pay her well! I've been coming here for decades and the service is better than ever! Highly recommend this restaurant experience.
The charcuterie, smoked salmon appetizer, and crab cake Benedict was all bad imo. The bread the smoked salmon comes on was dry and tasted bad and the flavors didn’t quite go together. The Bloody Mary was good. Maybe more of a drinking heavy brunch place. The atmosphere and server were fine. Our friends ordered quiche and said it was good, but I didn’t try it.
Waiter forgot some items, but then again we were with a large group. 5 stars overall
Entire staff was welcoming, menu was varied, and atmosphere was lovely. The food was delightful.
Held a team dinner for ~50 in the heated patio area, during low 40 temps and it was AMAZING! The service and care provided by the Murphy's crew was exceptional! Food was delicious! Everything we know and love about southern hospitality is found at Murphy's! Dietary restrictions: Dietary restrictions are recognized and handled with care. There is something for everyone on Murphy's menu.
Try the Brussels sprouts with jalapeno awesome sauce. It's a side we shared as an app.
This is truly my 'go to' restaurant for weekend brunch ...ANY or NO occassion! The food taste fresh and flavorful. Its prepared in a reasonable time. An assortment of breakfast breads and biscuits are served with REAL BUTTER and housemade jam while U wait for Ur food! The atmosphere is quaint on the outside, yet full of small areas of charm in the inside. Unlike several restaurants, U are not charged for reasonable substitutions. The menu is modest but U can get what U want and make Ur own meal how U like it if U need to switch a few food options around. Several of my friends and fam have eaten here who are vegetarian. There are a few (not many) meatless options and fruit & veggie (small) options for vegetarians. If U are not a vegan and not extremely lactose intolerant U can enjoy this (rich in flavor) food. Prices are reasonable. Whether U drink or not, the bar can make a beautiful concoction for U (off there menu of course). I took my Mom for her B'earthday and the wonderful server asked if there was an occasion we were celebrating . My Mom was asked if she liked any of the desserts on the menu. She had NO plans of purchasing dessert after her awesome brunch. She was surprised with a beautiful presentation of the most delicious desert w/ a dulché icecream (COURTESY OF MURPHY'S) to celebrate her 77th day around the sun❣️ That was very sweet and made my Mommie happy! We enjoyed the closed in outside patio with a street view and beautiful plants that looks like a plant/green room Unfortunately brunch is on the weekend only. One benefit...It starts early and ends late (around 3:30-4) Reservations online are free and very much encouraged! It's a small place but has several patrons all week long...especially weekend brunch. Vegetarian options: Several of the food options can be vegetarian. Simply remove or request a veggie or fruit option to make the meal Ur own. There may be some other dairy options as well. I am not sure. Always ask...U may be able to get what U request. Parking: Parking is very scarce (close to the restaurant). On the weekends there is valet parking in the bank parking lot for less than $5. I try to find Street parking and simply walk to the venue if I am alone. It's a 3 minute or less walk.
