Mrs. Fish

Our family had our dinner in Mrs fish on Saturday in February 2024. Despite the restaurant name that resemble a Sichuan restaurant, this restaurant could serve authentic Cantonese cuisine. We met the chef that evening who has culinary experience in several famous restaurants in Guangdong China before migrating to New York. We asked the chef to do Omaske for us using fresh seafood. Our family was happily surprised by the elegant plated and delicious dishes in this 'chef special'. The chicken with ginger and scallion, deep fried orange peel spare ribs, baked fresh eel in garlic , tofu with stuffed pork and pepper with stuffed shrimp, fresh giant oyster in XO sauce ......what a fantastic feast that we found in Chinatown! The waiters were friendlyy and attentive while the place was clean and tastefully decorated with Chinese calligraphy frames. We highly recommended visitors to try this restaurant, a hidden gem in New York Chinatown !

中歺馆，味道不错

Went to lunch on Saturday with my son. He loved the lamb and salt & pepper pork chop. The dim sum and noodles are fantastic as well. We have been to this place quite a few places over the years, it has always been a delicious meal.

They forced me to tips them more than 18% while I just gave them an usual tips, but they didn’t think that’s enough for their SUPER MARVELOUS SERVICE for me!!! I won’t recommend this place to anyone!

I came with my friends and after our dinner, the woman didn’t satisfy with the tips we gave to them then continue to ask us to giving more like at least 18% while their service was really rude and slow! Never come back

I was hesitant at first to dine here w some of the 1-2 star reviews, esp coming from “local tour guides” but I’m glad I gave it a shot. These local guides dunno sht, their 5 star reviews are at joints where mushu chicken and spring rolls are raved. That is American food, not Chinese. Come here if you want legit flavors (from one of many Chinese regions). Flash fried live shrimp was my fave. Followed by the lamb chops. Lux ambiance and impeccable service. Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night in case it’s a material datapoint. There was also a scallion dry noodle dish that was amazing but I forgot the name of it (yes, I know, not helpful for this review) but it was $16 and worth every dime.

What you can get here for $20, you can get from most Chinese restaurants for like $7. It is quite overpriced, but it’s not that good.

Super tight area, tables are super close together. Service is SUUUUUUUPER SLOW. I would not recommend. Food is meh. Meh meh meh. Meh all around. They should call this place Meh Palace

Very underwhelming, food was great but they gave us paper plates and plastic cups. Barely any space we had to scooch over and get up every time someone was gonna stand or leave next to us. Definitely not worth the trip and not worth the money. Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t see how you would be able to accustom for wheelchairs when there is barely any space
