SLAP MY GRANDMOMMA GOOD!!!.... I got the catfish, macaroni cheese (the cheese was cheesing!) Collards plus 4 of the soul rolls! I could have just ate 2 soul rolls and been done...The unique combination of collards, yams, and mac&Cheese in a egg roll is BRILLIANT ! Awesome customer service and the cashier was nice enough to still give me my military discount! Nooòo complaints! Suggestions: Patent your juices qnd put your lgl! I had Mango Lemonade 10/10! Not really and eat-in spot (2 small tables)
Food was perfect! Everything nice and hot! And very flavorful, even tho we went 30 minutes from closing time. IT was worth the drive.
The food was very flavorful and well priced I have no complaints honestly. I ordered the blackened salmon with Mac and yams as my two sides and also ordered a six piece all flat teriyaki, fried crispy. Everything was so good. Granted there is a three dollar up charge for all flats but they were worth it. I’m usually picky about my yams but these were made with love fasho. I will definitely be visiting again.
We placed an order for pickup via phone. They were friendly and the food was ready quickly. Honestly some of the best greens and cornbread I’ve ever had.
As a paying customer the staff gives off the vibe that they're doing me a favor. Customer service goes a very long way and I won't patronize an establishment when the staff is rude. The food is ok, but customer service is trash and unprofessional. Take heed.
This spot is ! The food has such good flavor! The prices are decent, too. It's a pickup kinda place, no seating inside. Parking: It's located in a large shopping strip. Wheelchair accessibility: Like typical of a shopping area.
I’m very picky when it comes to soul food but the yams, greens, and Mac and cheese were all delicious. The fried fish could use more seasoning but it was still good. While the food was great the customer service is definitely an issue. Being a first time customer I called to ask a few questions before ordering and the young lady who answered was really rude seems like she didn’t want to be there.
This is my second time trying Diddys. I was impressed with the first time, so I decided to try again. I went to the Midtown location to pick up my food. This was definitely out of my way, but I was looking forward to the food. Drive all the way there, too realize they did NOT put my corn bread in the bag that I ordered and paid for. I get it, it was not that much, but the time out of my day to drive all the way down there, the mental stress that comes with dealing with traffic, definitely did not help my disappointment. Food in general is getting expensive so i like to get what i paid for.
