The ramen was delicious! Unfortunately, it took over 50 minutes for our food to be brought out after ordering. (Two orders of ramen, so not a huge order or anything). I don’t know if they were really understaffed that day or what… also my dining partner had spicy ramen and was in desperate need of water and our glasses were left empty for quite a while. Otherwise the building was very nice inside.
The cafe side is excellent - the teas and the coffees are consistently good and the pastries are some of the best around. The food side is hit and miss depending on what you order - for example the chicken katsu tastes good but isn’t thick enough.
My sister took me here for my birthday last week. The food was delicious. I had the fried pork sandwich with the curry sauce and almost went to heaven. I love how everything is done online. It makes sense to let the customers make their own orders when they're ready instead of employees constantly checking in. I wish more places did that. I hate their chairs though. They have no back! We sat on the patio to get regular chairs.
Coming from a town where Asian food is. This ain't it. They have wonderful pastries. But ramen, Katsu, should not exist here. Putting a kraft single on a por katsu which is dried with no cheese in middle and the bread wasn't the right thing. Not good could not finish. Our server was stressed out and unfortunately was allowing that to dictate her work ethic and attitude. We tried to be chill about slow service but she could not get it together or respond to us accordingly. The menu is far too much for the amount of employers you have and quality. It would be 1000x better with just coffee and pastries. The sandos were atrocious, I really could not enjoy that. Also way too much for unathenthic. I can get the real thing for $5-7 in Texas.
Initially had confusion with my order but they made it right and it was extremely good. Would recommend
I’ve never been to a Japanese restaurant quite like this. The menu was not anything like I am used to… good! I had steamed edamame (salt and pepper), fried oyster sandwich, and Ume (plum) soda. Excellent!
Food is good and the cafe is nice but the dishes are overpriced, also nowhere to park for free. Not worth it!! Tons of better ramen options with free parking and reasonable prices.
Although I lived in midtown till 2020, I somehow missed visiting this place until last week. Great food, great beverage menu, nice cafe. A must visit when you are in ATL midtown. Parking: Park in the building’s retail parking lot. Take the ticket for validation inside the restaurant.
