We've been going here for years enjoying their happy hour on the patio for business meetings. The staff is wonderful. Now, suddenly management has decided the only happy hour can be in their dark cold restaurant at the bar. Mind you it is very dark and it's a little difficult to hold a business meeting when four or five of you are spread out in a line at a bar. I have no idea why it was changed but it is the worst idea ever. So instead of our bill being $150 during happy hour, we got there early to sit on the patio and it was $300. Find another place, don't eat here, there are no bargains. Plus the menu hasn't changed in years. Anybody else know of a good outdoor happy hour in LA with good oysters? Please submit. Vegetarian options: If you eat oysters you have to go to the happy hour or you'll pay over $50. Their vegan burger is heavy like a brick. The fish was market price. Then of course there's always French fries. Lot more meat than anything else. Parking: If you go to Chase there are a few Chase spaces. Otherwise it is a pay lot. There are spaces on the street but they come and go.
I highly recommend this stop before attending the Greek theater for an event. Good drinks and food to prep you for a fun evening ahead .
Greeted by an angry valet parking guy after we left our vehicle we parked in an unmarked spot and he stated we owed him and he will re park us in a chase parking spot marked as reserved he stated when chase is closed they own the space. We had been in the car for 10 mins we didn’t see anyone until he came up to us as we were heading inside or else we would have moved. We did not see any signs stating reserved on that spot we parked in either, then he insisted to move our car to a spot that said reserved we refused and parked on the street. When we went inside the staff was friendly and attentive it was great but the food was too soggy my chicken was very good but not much flavor and it had too much sauce otherwise it would have been great!
Simple but great. Quiet vibe. And close to home
The biscuits are out of control. The family BBQ platter is delicious. Everything you need to fill up and the BBQ sauce is pretty good. 4 can eat for a hundred bucks.
