We stopped for a late lunch at Mesa Mexican Cuisine after going to Meowolf at Grapevine Mills. From the moment you try the crispy chips and zesty salsa, you know you're in for a treat. The queso with chorizo is creamy with just the right amount of spice. The fajita trio is a sizzling sensation, offering a combination of beef, chicken, and shrimp with vibrant veggies. The beef relleno is topped with a green chile cream sauce that is a must-try. And let's not forget dessert! The churros are quite good – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly dusted with cinnamon sugar, then drizzled with caramel. Those were gone before I could take the picture! To wash it all down, their margaritas are a excellent – refreshing, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of kick. It tastes like you're on vacation. Last, but perhaps most important, the service is exemplary of what a nice dining experience should be. The host greeted us with a smile when we walked in and we were promptly seated. Our server was outstanding and knowledgeable on the menu. He timed the drinks, appetizers, entrées and dessert perfectly and he looked well after our table. We will go back next time we're in Grapevine.
