Stopped by while staying in Austin for the weekend. Easy to get to know S. Lamar, parking was a little hilly. Cute little shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Got an iced latte with caramel syrup which was the perfect amount of sweet. Also ordered an everything bagel with chive cream cheese which was just okay. The bagel didn't have enough everything seasoning on it and lacked flavor. It was mostly sesame seeds and mostly on one side of the bagel. The cream cheese was spreadable but could have used a bit more pinch. Now I am from NJ so I have pretty high expectations for bagels so take that for what it is.
The staff are really nice, they make probably the first or second best lattes in Austin. The parking here however is an absolute nightmare.
Hi! I went at 9am on a Tuesday morning.. I paid for a to go latte and a toasted bagel w/ chive cream cheese.. waited for 10 minutes for the bagel, and had to ask them for it and they said they definitely forgot. That happens sometimes (it shouldn't if you're a normal place), but then they toasted it for 5 seconds and gave me plain cream cheese with no effort to make up for wasting 10 minutes of my morning. So I left feeling they didn't deserve my $16. The place only is successful cause of its aesthetic and location. Maybe it was an off morning, but this was my experience. Coffee was 4/5.
Great place Very cozy, good service and the food is good enough
Was visiting Austin and ordered delivery for coffee and lattes. The blend they used for the coffee was very dark and almost tasted burnt. Will not be ordering from here again.
