The food is actually good. Too bad that most topping is extra cost in which is over priced. $2.00 for extra green onions and $5.00 for 4 extra chasu. No seaweed comes with the ramen, no bamboo shoots, none of the regular standard Japanese ramen usual toppings. I will not be recommending this place despise the food coming very close to the real authentic Japanese food.

Me and my group of friends had a great dinner here. The Nagoya fried chicken is sooo tasty and the ramen is great too. The seasoned egg in the ramen was the best boiled egg I've ever had. Can't wait to come back next time we are in town.

Ordered 2 tonkastu with egg and chasu. Took my friends who were visiting. After hours of hyping up Menya ultra, we were disappointed with this location. The broth was not a full bodied and flavorful as I remembered from the location at Claremont. The noodles were great and al dente. The egg was perfect. But the broth was so underwhelming. Note: the side of plain broth is $1, please be aware that it is plain with no flavor at all. It reminded me of bones, oil and water. Please save your $1 broth, i wish it was made clear on the menu that the side of broth had no flavor. Feel ripped off for $1, imagine doing this to multiple customers everyday… that $1 is easy money for them for those who don’t know. Nagoya chicken was great. I probably will not return to this location.

Best ramen in town. Get the fried chicken, just do it. Put your name on the online waiting list as you're driving there. Lose points for service due to online ordering only, even at the table. Vegetarian options: Vegan ramen
