Spiro's Mediterranean Cuisine

Haven't been here in a while. Place is remodeled, looks nice. Food is on point, as always. Had a gyro and calamari. View of San Diego bay is fantastic. No seagulls on the patio this time. Great spot.

First time going! I was impressed, kind of hidden but it is a gem! The food was amazing good portion size. I left feeling full. 10/10 would recommend.

Good value! Food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Customer service was very good. We went when it was crowded and the food came out fast and the staff were Friendly and very helpful! They were working hard to keep up with customer demands.

Fun atmosphere, beautiful view, great greek salad.

The prices seemed a little high, but the food was pretty good. The service was friendly and attentive. The location is on beautiful Coronado Island very near the Coronado Ferry landing. There are other restaurants and little shops nearby so it's a great area to eat and do a little shopping.

This place has been hit or miss for me. Half the time the food is great, the other half, its been dry and lacking flavor. I normally get a gyro sandwich and they put plenty of meat on it. Service is quick. Kind of grosses me out that they allow pigeons to walk around inside picking at scraps on the floor. I guess if you sit outside, that's also the case but you expect it outside.

Cuisine? Yes. Greek? No. It’s from somewhere else. I ordered spanakopita and they served it with “tzatziki”. Huh? That doesn’t make any sense at all. The pita must have been made reheated in a very old, slow microwave because the sides were hardened, the way burnt gum would taste like (not my gums, though they might as well have been because the pita was steaming hot) and the tzatziki was diluted with god knows what.
