Ordered via Grubhub. I'd skip delivery from this place and try in person. The upcharge for delivery and the portion size makes it overpriced. Smallest $7.75 soup ever. Thankfully it tasted good. Very good. Homemade. Chicken slouvaki salad - $15 , as pictured- was prepared as specified. Tasted good, but should have also been larger at that price. I'd have been happier if it was stuffed with more lettuce. It would've at least given the illusion of being a better value. The food was good BUT $26.50 for a tiny soup and a chicken salad and side of pita is not great. BTW that's AFTER a $6 Grubhub restaurant promo-credit , and before tax & tip.
falafel pita is excellent
The food was okay, and so was the service but it was just okay.
This place is a classic Greek diner and I love it! The gyro meat is perfectly seasoned, the tzatziki is good and the atmosphere is laid back. Highly recommended!
Breakfast stack was disgustingly low quality
We picked this place based off of the reviews I read. We were not disappointed!!! My best friend had one of the breakfast skillets with a little of everything in it! She loved it! I had falafels with hummus side dip (which I didn't get a picture of and there were for falafels not just two). The poop of flavor from these little batter balls was amazing!!! A taste sensation! My gyro was wonderful! They took the time to crisp the meat which makes all the difference in the world!!! If you're in Denver and can't decide between breakfast or Greek stop by Melita's for a treat to your taste buds!
The gyro skillet is delicious
The lamb was excellent. The salad was ok. The pita bread was undercooked dough, the tzatziki was bland, and one of the sauces the salad came with appeared to be straight up vinegar. The place is not well-marked - I walked past it even though I knew its positioning from Google maps. Upon entering I was greeted with the atmosphere of a country gas station. I went around lunch, and there were obnoxiously strong Pine-Sol vapors. I ordered at a counter and paid up-front, yet was waited on. I am not a fan of this style of service because I tip when I pay, and by principle I do not tip until I have been served because it must be based on the service. Sorry, please decide between service and no service. Half way in between just makes customers feel awkward and pressured. Despite this logistical annoyance, the service itself was great.
