closed i need Asian restaurants!!

PERMANENTLY CLOSED! So freaking sad when I dropped by today to try and order lunch for my family, this was our favorite local spot and saw that there was a closed sign. Apparently a Johnny’s diner will be coming soon. So it looks like this location has officially closed. It must’ve been fairly recent because they have five star reviews up until last week , so sad. Rest in peace, mei’s kitchen.

First time eating Taiwanese food and it's delicious. Lots of dishes to choose from and every single dish was phenomenal. I will definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back again. Vegetarian options: Some both vegetarian and pescatarian options available Parking: It's in the plaza by Publix and there are plenty of parking spaces.

Five stars for the first time gone, had ordered Kao Fu and fried dumplings on the go on a busy day. Today, I received a very inappropriate amount of items for my Taiwanese noodle soup. A single baby shrimp and a singular small pork meatball in a giant tub of broth is not a noodle soup… I’ve had this before elsewhere. What’s surprising is that the Kao Fu never disappoints. But the entree should seriously not be sold like this. I would’ve preferred being told they are low instead so I can choose something more substantive. After a 50 dollar bill I expected a bit more…

This was fantastic. I have had Mei's on my list for a few years, and I am so glad I finally went. The Tiawanese food is spectacular. Every dish we ate was made to order, and everything was perfectly seasoned. Every dish was fresh, steaming, and irresistible. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu, but some of the must haves are the Salt & Pepper Taiwanese chicken, the pork rice bowl, the spicy salt shrimp, and their bao buns. You can eat all of these guilt free, and without worry of being greasy. They also offer select dishes Fri-Sun which I will have to come back and try. Do not pass them up! You have to try them!
