Meijer

Location: 5500 Clyde Park SW. Very large Meijer store. Much wider selection in all depts. For example: meat section, not 2 or 3 choices, but often 5 or 6 of a particular cut. Same for the produce & entire grocery section. As well as the rest of the store. Oddly, only 6 self-chkout stations on pharmacy end of store. This area is largely commercial. Many other businesses nearby; including restaurants. Noticed a trailer mounted camera/lighting/spkr setup on pharmacy/home goods end of prkng area. This is usually an indication of ongoing criminal activity. Didn't see many street ppl. Although one guy was wearing his thug costume. Hoping to look particularly menacing? I would use caution in this area after dark.

My go to grocery store in the area. The staff is always friendly and they have a decent variety of gluten free grocery options.

Absolutely the worst meijer I’ve ever been to. Never any small carts which I’ve just acknowledged will always be the case but today there’s no carts at all? You have staff standing all over doing absolutely nothing. Send them out to collect some carts so people with trouble walking don’t have to go back and forth from the parking lot or worse try to hobble around while carrying a basket.
