I order red bean soup with toppings and this is what I get. Only red bean no soup. What a great store!

Taiwanese dessert place. The desserts are beautiful and the large ice treat are giant and must be shared. They have a huge variety of drinks and desserts. The shaved ice is topped with yummy treats on top. You order through an iPad and pick up your order at the counter. They have a good amount of seating inside. I will be going back! I can see other review say the wait was bad but we had about two people in line in front of us and waited about 10 min for order.

I came back Meet Fresh for a big bowl of Shaved Ice for a hot summer night. It was soooooo delicious! We ordered a large size taro shaved ice to share. It was so satisfying. The size was huge, we didn’t finish the whole thing because we just had dinner. But it was very yummy, I hope we order a medium size so we could finish it. Around a big shaved ice “mountain”, there are taro pieces, pudding, mini taro balls, red beans and a big scoop of ice cream on the top. It is superb! I brought my good friend to try my favorite Boba place! Actually not only boba, I love all the things from Meet Fresh. Personally, I love hot tofu pudding or grass jelly with Taro, red bean and peanuts. But I have to say, if you are a boba girl, this place literally has the most authentic Taiwanese boba you can get, since Meet Fresh comes from Taiwan, it's been so popular around the whole Asia for a long time. Also I recommend the egg waffles and mung bean cakes, I just love it!

Oh my godfather! I feel like this store literally makes it so fresh that as soon as you order, they start growing the taro. Wait, no even before you order, you gotta go to a kiosk which is right next to the cashier. She is clearly so bombarded with the task of not taking orders because there’s a kiosk for it. But oh wait! The kiosk does not have some items, so you still have to order the traditional way, speaking to the cashier. She tells you the wait is 40 minutes for a waffle. You clearly see the waffle machine not in use, so you change your mind and say I’ll order tofu pudding with taro balls instead. But oh again! The cashier says there’s a kiosk to order that. So the cashier they hired performs fewer tasks/orders than the kiosk? Incredible efficiency here! An hour has passed and I have yet to receive my simple order. There is no line outside and few people indoors. I bet they’re finally harvesting the taro… it would have been faster for me to go to Hmart next door, drive home, make my ingredients, then make the dessert… don’t go here unless you are into bad and slow service

Worst Meet Fresh among all locations I’ve been to in Canada, Asian and the U.S. This place is severely understaffed. 1⃣️ordering: no staff took orders and you can only use the kiosk to order. But BE CAREFUL! I was asked to put in my phone number to receive notification when the order is ready and I received a welcome email 🙃Okay I don’t expect to give away my personal information just for ordering dessert. And I was told the egg waffle is out of stock. 2⃣️Horrible service: we waited more than 15 mins for our order and when we finally revealed it, it was a mess. One wrong item from someone else order. One missing item. I paid extra money to add taro as topping for my shaved ice and they forgot. 3⃣️Environment: No napkins and hand towels at this location. (And when the staff told me this he even didn’t say a single sorry…maybe he is too busy to care about customer experience) Can you believe it??? A restaurant without napkins??? Are you serious?? We switched several tables and all of them are dirty. No staff had time cleaning them. The restroom is also very untidy. We came around 9 in a weekday evening(July 26th) so it wasn’t even peak time. I cannot imagine what things look like here during weekend. If you are the owner, please please consider hiring more people. I am not saying any one specific employee cause the bad experience, it’s completely due to overstaff and bad planning.

I would avoid if you plan to get drinks at Meet Fresh in Mira Mesa. The quality has dropped significantly. I ordered the Fresh Milk Tea and it tasted like I paid $5 for diluted milk with water. The regular milk tea is fine but not as good as it used to be. I understand they are understaffed and it has been challenging. However, the quality of the drinks are not worth while. I would recommend going somewhere else for something better to quench your thirst.
