A great university-town haunt. Straightforward, tasty food without pretense--an endangered species in the Instagram age. Great atmosphere for friendly or family meals and gatherings.
Good food and very fast service, but they forgot a dish (probably would have provided it if the member of my party had said something).
Recently visited for the first time for brunch . Enjoyed the food . There was an Asian/chinese / or Korean server or host middle aged short host . Her customer service was very off standing . She was not listening when I was asking a question about the food , she was talking over me , and felt very impersonal . I felt rushed. Maybe this is her training or a cultural / age barrier . It’s important to listen for understand standing instead of just to respond . She didn’t talk to us much , maybe the staff is more focused on getting guests in and out during the busy hours . I really felt she was cold when I was asking a question and she could have listened better before assuming what I wanted .
Visited Medici for my wife's birthday and had a great time. The atmosphere is cool-urban/intellectual/collegiate-very hip but friendly at the same time. It seems like a very popular local spot. We had the black bean burger and a mediterranean wrap-both tasted delicious. I wanted the wrap without olives and that was no problem which I appreciated. We had a great time, a delicious meal and are looking forward to a return visit. Vegetarian options: Both our orders were vegetarian.
