New, clean, visually appealing, open 24 hrs, mini-McDonald’s with ample touch screen ordering and McDelivery via the app; Staff appeared knowledgeable & diligent. Majority of seating area was cordoned off for cleaning, so seating was limited to 1 table. While I waited for my order, I attempted to access what appeared to be public bathrooms and was quickly told I could not go past the yellow tape. Replied I was looking for the bathroom and response was: ‘No Bathrooms’. Whether that meant they had none or that they were currently out of service is not known. I waited about 25 minutes, which felt like foreva as I’m spoiled living upstate & experiencing fast & accurate McD drive through service virtually everywhere. Know that McDelivery service replaces drive-through in NYC and understandably so.. but it is ever so frustrating to watch delivery person after delivery person walk in & pick up their order in under 60 seconds.. the lesson here: use the McD App in the City & skip the in-store line.. 4 stars due to ‘No Bathrooms’ & long wait time. [Note: NYC Law does not require food service establishments with Wheelchair accessibility: Wide enough for a powerchair or wheelchair but —you may have to ask those waiting for their order to give you a wide berth. It’s a long & narrow galley type McDs.
They need to check the security guards a man was literally harassing us and we came in and Took a bite of our ice cream that we paid for and he told us we need to get out of the store immediately. Literally had customers coming up and asking us if we are OK and we need protection. It was the short light skin one. The other 2 were so calm with us. He is taking his security job at McDonald’s too serious
