Mayfair Grill

Beautiful place . Good food and menu for happy hour .

There are many dining options in CG, but sometimes it’s hard to find something that doesn’t break the bank with food you would come back for. This was a find. My wife and I live nearby and it’s now an option for a non-extravagant and not too expensive neighborhood dinner for two. Half-price bottles of wine on Wednesdays help. All the food was great, the grilled octopus with the green mole and potatoes was particularly delicious and well made. Some of the staff was new, but they were extremely pleasant and professional. Only not so great detail was the music, it really didn’t go with the green, cosy, laid-back atmosphere and we needed to strain our voices even though it was early and there were few other patrons.

The prices are crazy...$18 for 2 (mini) street tacos...it seems from pictures they used to offer 3 which makes much more sense. I left feeling hungry! They should definitely denote that the tacos are very small, not your typical taco size. Two stars instead of one because our server was great.

Get to the bar at the Mayflower Grill and meet Rick who is the bartender to have an outstanding time. His skills are outstanding and to boot he makes you welcome. The Grill should be lucky to have him!

$28.33 for a glass of cab and asked if I would bring the glass back or if I was staying on the premises. I live around the corner, but had no intentions of leaving the bar since I only wanted 1 glass. I also paid a full 30% tip even after the rude service and being served a less than full glass at the bar's chosen price without being allowed a menu. For those who do not know this is Lost Boy Group Management

Ricky is by far the best bartender! Showed us the best brands of mezcal and tequila. Definitely will come back to try more !

Amazing cocktails with amazing service! We sat at the bar a couple times and had a lovely time. The bartenders are knowledgeable and so kind. The chocolate tres leches cake was phenomenal.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Mayfair for a wedding near by. It was our first time staying here and we loved it! This boutique hotel is so unique and beautiful. I loved exploring and relaxing among all the greenery. We ate at the Grill the evening we got in and the food was incredible! We shared the wood oven cheese dip which was delicious and then I had the charred cauliflower flatbread and it was an explosion of flavors probably the best flatbread I have ever had!! Every bite was divine I still think about it. My boyfriend ordered the pork carnitas tacos and also claimed they were delicious. Cocktails were yummy as well! I recommend this place for dinner!
