The service is very good and the food is exceptional. This place is a bit small in comparison to other restaurants you can choose from. However, if you have to wait it's well worth it. I have dine here on a few occasions but luckily, I never had to wait to long. The food is prepared with a lot of experience behind it, you can tell by the quality and flavor. This is a unique and special little place and is not your ordinary Mom and Pop Restaurant.

This is a wonderful little restaurant across from the baseball park. The food is delicious and the service is awesome. A must stop in downtown Dunedin.

If you want a taste of french cuisine without going farther than Dunedin this place is perfect for breakfast and lunch. Such a lovely café owned by a husband and wife chef team. We are greeted with a warm welcome even though it was close to closing time by our server, Paula. She explained that everything was made all in house by the chef. From the buttery croissants, to the shirred seafood eggs & individual quiche, everything tasted as if we were in France and that is a huge culinary compliment. Thank you so much for a fantastic lunch! We will definitely be back.

This place is pure trash. We had the rudest waitress that could not deal with a total of 3 tables and our extremely basic breakfast which included eggs, bacon, toast, and what was supposed to be hash browns which were cubed potatoes, was disgusting and undercooked almost as if they only own a microwave. When we said something about hash browns the waitress literally said that it’s their version of hash browns and I didn’t realize that we could change the definition of words. When scrambled eggs are still clear and runny that’s a problem. I literally didn’t think anyone could ruin a breakfast because I can’t cook and I am able to cook breakfast to completion. When we said something about the food the rude waitress, who apparently everyone has issues with, told us to leave. Wow. Then proceeded we were the first to ever complain and clearly we were not the first. The walls are even disgusting. Someone should probably send the department of health that way. I highly recommend that you try Pete’s Diner, which is where we went to actually eat something after spending an hour at this joke of an establishment. I wish I could give negative stars.

Nice little spot. Delicious French inspired breakfast and coffee. Cool staff. The corned beef hash is delicious.

This French café is the best hidden gem in Dunedin! The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious! Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch if you are in the area.

The place was packed when we walked in on Sunday morning. There was one waitress, who seemed extremely frazzled. She quickly apologized and said we’d have to wait. We stood at the bar for 10 minutes, without water or coffee. One of the tables got up, and as I went to sit, she told me not to, so that I didn’t get crumbs everywhere. I proceeded to wait 10 more minutes at the bar. She didn’t even attempt to clean the table. When we were finally invited to sit, the patrons at the neighboring table said it was an hour and a half for their entire service. One server and one cook. For whatever reason, they were taking online orders even though their kitchen was backed up. Four different Uber drivers came in to pick up “Blake’s order.” None of them left with anything. The waitress was not very kind at all. Her reply to people complaining about the wait was “it’s a French restaurant. We’re laid back. Everyone has to wait.” She also had no problem complaining to us about another table in the restaurant. This French cafe gave us our latte/capuccino in pint glasses, which were incredibly sweet. The glasses were then refilled with regular coffee, which was very difficult to handle properly since the glasses themselves became very hot. The food itself, while lacking in presentation and creativity, was spectacular. If I could ensure that my meal would make it to me, I would always order it online and skip the dining experience entirely.

A very nice experience. The service is quite good, the food outstanding. It's a small restaurant and you may be there longer than the normal dining experience these days.....but we found that these are positives. The Chef is outstanding, and we go there now with the TIME to savor the authentic experience, the service and the expertly prepared food.

This was my first time going after seeing the great reviews. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Very authentic French breakfast. I got the shirred eggs with a caramel latte and French toast and every dish was extraordinary. Service was very nice and the atmosphere was comfortable. This is definitely a hole in the wall worth going to!
