i love this restaurant. The food and the vibes are amazing
5 stars! Beautiful ambience, delicious food and quick service. Food is very flavorful. The portion sizes are very small though. Went to Mariel to celebrate my husband's birthday. Overall, had a great time! Highly recommend this gem. Parking: Paid parking garage is very close to the restaurant
1) Very mediocre drinks 2) Dance club music without a floor or club atmosphere is just lazy and lame. Even the music was very blasé till the DJ showed up. Hire a DJ for the entire evening please. 3) The food was okay. One of the dishes came out clearly burnt. Poor quality control in the kitchen. 4) Service was quite good. But good service alone can’t pick this place up. 5) Such a lovely building and decor. Sadly the atmosphere is very disappointing. Yvonne, another restaurant by the same management, is such a premium experience in all aspects. Go there instead.
Great rum based beverage selections... Great vibe and tasty treats!
First time at Mariel, with high expectations. The Cuban cuisine is one of my favorites, I tried almost the entire menu, the calamari 10/10 Korean steak 10/10, avocado con mojo 10/10 , corn and crab 7/10 (it just didn’t taste crab at all) and the steak churrasco 100000/1000000 the best dish. Great service from Juan, amazing atmosphere.
I went to Mariel for brunch which then followed the “Havana” brunch party. Randy took care of us the entire time and provided us such a special time. He went above and beyond. The Havana brunch reminded me of Miami or Newyork restaurants. Finally a new fun event in Boston!
The host was rude, we asked if people dress up, because we got all dolled up. She kind of laughed and said no, it threw off our whole vibe. Would not recommend if youre trying to feel good about yourself.
