Best BBQ ever! Plus the Mac and Cheese is heaven
I love the brisket burnt ends! I always get it with redneck lasagna. And my family always wants the fresh, sizzling pork rinds!
Food was great! Portions were plenty. The redneck lasagna was an interesting mixture of their house-made mac and cheese and Brunswick stew. The fried pork skins came fresh to the table and a half order was enough for my whole family. The fried pickles tasted just fine. Plenty of interesting barbecue sauces. The burnt ends were probably my favorite. We did get the sampler platter so we got to try everything. Very sad to hear that the owner is closing or selling his business. Hopefully they turn it over to someone that cares about their customers. The only problem we had there was poor table service. The young ladies stood behind the counter eating their food and chit-chatting without even coming to our table. I had to get up and announce our presents after about 10 minutes of waiting. I hope I get to try a few more menu items before they close their doors.
The food was sooo good! We ate there and brought food home to put in the freezer. The brisket and burnt ends were excellent.
First let me start by saying I am not a huge BBQ fan. I was nervous but decided to try the burnt ends & ribs... insanely good burnt ends. I never get this excited about BBQ! Redneck lasagna was speaking to my inner fat girl and we now are in love. The amount of fried okra they put on the plate is for 3 people!!!! Very good! The corn muffin was the final kicker that sent me into Bliss!!!! They make their own sauces... yummmmy!!!!! I wish they had bone in chicken... I may move in.
Giving 1 star for the service Came in to get a recommended side dish a friend told me about Showed the size I wanted ... got a smaller size and the girl tells me You're gonna have heartburn haha Unnecessary comment Too comfortable talking to strangers any way they please I guess
