I am going to say this place, certain servers seem racist/prejudice. Me and my boyfriend, (who is black and I a hispanic), were not greeted. not respected. An older red head lady gave prejudice and gave me and him no acknowledgment. Everyone was staring at us the whole time we were eating. Weird. If you want friendly service as a person of color, would not bank on this place.
Great food, excellent service, always eat here when I'm on that side of town and hungry.
History, mystery, good diner food, and a nostalgic shared memory of community in a digital world.
Great food and friendly service. Fried pickles were good. Burger, Ruben and chicken salad very tasty. Very fair prices.
Breakfast with coffee and a tip $24 I was a little hungry when I left. Not much food for that. The cheese was not melted on my eggs. It wasn't served very hot. The coffee was ok and I loved the feel of the coffee mug. I originally thought I would come for the gluten-free pancake option. There wasn't an option for just a pancake and some eggs. It was basically one or the other.... Unless I wanted to spend over $30 for breakfast.
Had brunch/lunch a few times with my Mum!!! As I’m a fan of eggs & she is not… it’s always nice to find a spot that provides a worthy plate early in the day & not have everything be something she’s not going to like. Me on the other hand- eggs all day, please!!! Also really love that things are Texas sourced! Staff is amazing. You walk in & see the same people that you did four months ago. Adding to my love of their menu!!!
This is a must stop for breakfast. Outstanding flavor and excellent service.
Good food, really great staff. Bobby, the bartender, is the best in Dallas. King Ranch enchiladas!!! Vegetarian options: Luckys has options for those of you who do not like meat
