Edit: after eating here 3 times and loving just about everything, I had the pad Thai and was severely disappointed. Changing rating from 5 to 4 stars Food surpassed all expectations! We loved the green tea noodles, scallion pancake, and kimchee yaki udon and would order them again. Malaysian curry comfort stew and tempeh pumpkin seaweed bowl were both good but I would try something else next time.
Delicious variety of vegan food and my go to spot for casual dinners in Boerum Hill
We had the lunch special which for $15 comes with a choice between miso soup or a salad and a spring roll or a slice of steamed pumpkin. There is also a choice with some of the mains to have white rice or a mix of black, red and brown rice. I had the salad, pumpkin, the "Prosperity Platter" (tofu and vegetables) main course and the whole grain rice mix. The salad wasn't that good and I didn't care for the dressing either but the pumpkin was tasty. The mixed rice was good and the Prosperity Platter was okay. The service was fine and our orders came out quickly.
Loved the atmosphere and the vegan pho!! It's so hard to find a vegan pho without garlic and onions, so I was ecstatic. The tempura appetizer was good too. They played bossa nova in the background. The booths give a sense of intimacy and privacy.
My personal favorite vegan restaurant in NY, and that’s coming from an extremely picky eater! The service is always great.
Awful service. Ordered and server did not come back ONCE in an hour. Mentioned it to him when I needed to stand up to get his attention and he goes "well you could have flagged us down." I guess that is required at this horrid restaurant. I won't be back and you shouldn't either. Trash.
