Loeb Boathouse

Food was great. This is a must place to visit. The view is spectacular and you get to stay in Central Park. Highly recommend!

The boathouse recently reopened for dining. We were very excited since it has been closed during Covid. However, the service is pretty disappointing and food is not good either. We arrived there on time, and we had to wait 30 min to get someone take our order, and at least another 45 min for my entry to arrive. The waiter can’t describe the food well, and can’t answer our questions about what kind of fish is in the food. We ordered a champagne and a non alcoholic drink. They served us two alcoholic drinks, and the champagne is not in a champagne glass. The trout we ordered ended up being a salad dish, and the pasta is way too salty. With that service and food, they charge 20% tip by default. Definitely not recommend it other than the nice view.

Je suis actuellement très déçue. J’étais venue réserver en personne pour avoir la table près de la fenêtre car mon copain venait de France et je voulais rendre l’occasion spéciale et pourtant ils ont donné la table à quelqu’un d’autre comme ça puis la nourriture etait vraiment médiocre pour un restaurant qui me semblait etre a un haut standing, ils se reposent sur leur localisation. Je ne recommande pas…

El lugar tiene las mejores atenciones, el día pasado fui a un restaurante “exclusivo” en el hotel mandarín oriental y nada que ver con las atenciones de loeb boathouse, me quitaron el mal sabor de boca pues siempre fueron atentos y amables con lo que queríamos, nos dieron recomendaciones de bebidas y de entradas, los platillos venían calientes y el precio se me hizo más que adecuado, incluso me atrevería a decir que es barato por todo lo que ofrece.

Food was ridiculously overpriced for what it was. Hot chocolate was nice though.

Only thing good is the view and restaurant. The food is terrible for the cost and the service can't be bad because it was non existent. We had to ask a manager to even order lol the worst lobster pasta I've ever had

Food was extremely bland. Probably the worst tasting food in NYC. Service was nonexistent. 20% gratuity was automatically added for 2 people which would have been fine except the service was atrocious from start to finish. They have prime location so I hope they turn it around quick, but I don’t foresee us ever coming back or recommending it to others.
