The chicken is a cheap rotisserie style with no flavor at at all $48 and the lasagne terrible, expensive and bad
Met up with a friend here. A nice spot to enjoy the hubbub around Rockefeller Center. The food was excellent - we had the arugula salad and quiche plus coffee.
Our five star rating goes to Raul, LODI’s host extraordinaire. Raul was personable, client friendly. You would have thought he was the owner by how invested he was with service and client experience. Thank you, Raul—Susan and Jenn from Orlando, Florida
Ordered a risotto. It was extremely salty. And then I found a piece of hair in it. Really off putting, but staff took it off my bill. The indoor area is a bit cold in atmosphere. It honestly feels like a high end cafeteria and is not a place you’d want to hang out in all night. The terrazza seating is in an outdoor enclave and it doesn’t make for a very pleasant dining experience either. Food is good but extremely overpriced for comically tiny portions. The service is cordial which makes up for the odd vibes.
People here is extremely rude! Don’t come here! They are definitely racism!
Food 7/10 Surprisingly the food was not bad and the pasta texture was quite solid. I was pleasantly surprised considering it’s located in tourist trap central in Rockefeller. The pici was actually so perfectly al dente, while the tuna tartare had a good chili punch. The ricotta was very creamy, as ricotta should be, so that was also solid. Sourdough was a bit tough, and the spritzes. Atmosphere 6/10 Quite loud inside. The seating area was quite tight and there actually was less seating than I expected. A cafe/bakery vibe in the front and like four tables in the back for actual food. Service 7/10 Nice server, nothing out of the ordinary.
Tolles Essen - relativ teuer.
