My wife and I ate here three times in as many days while visiting Austin for the solar eclipse, it's unbelievably good. The atmosphere is splendid, service is fast and friendly, and the price is lower than I would expect for the quality they're delivering. The menu has a lot of variety, catering to different preferences or moods, while also being tight enough to ensure they absolutely crush on everything they make. The side items, like potatoes or soups or strawberries, are just as thoughtfully prepared as the main course. Seriously, get the potatoes. If you're on the brunch menu, get the hangover potatoes and also the potato salad. You won't regret doubling up on the spuds here. Staff seems to take pride in their work and they should, this place is top-tier.
This place is quite underrated for downtown. It has a wide variety of healthy, affordable options for under $16 which are difficult to find in this area. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you so there isn’t as much of a tip required as usual, although the interior is equivalent to most restaurants in downtown austin where it would typically cost twice as much per person (at least $30). I was quite happy with my harvest salad and strawberry basil lemonade and it was an excellent value at $15.
We found this place a couple weeks ago afyer going to the Restaurant across the street a few times. Have only been for brunchy items & coffee, but we're planning on coming back for later meals!
Super cute casual diner restaurant in downtown Austin. Very clean interior with friendly, chipper staff. You order at the counter and then your food is brought out to the table. The prices are high, but everything in Austin is now ridiculously expensive. I had the Smoked Salmon sandwich ($18). It was good but had unnecessary ingredients like carrots in it, plus a less than sensational avocado spread. Thin slices of fresh avocado would have been much better. My date had the Winter Power Bowl with grilled salmon ($29). It looked great and he liked it, though the salmon was overcooked unfortunately. In closing, it's a good lunch spot if you work or live downtown. Wheelchair accessibility: ADA accessible facility
WHOA I did not expect this salad to be this good. I ordered the Winter Harvest, a little worried it’d be on the smaller side but needing a healthy meal in Austin. I was so pleasantly surprised when I got a hearty, hefty salad bowl that tasted absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick, healthy bite.
