Our second time visiting Wayla Thai. An upscale Thai option with unique and curated dishes. Intricate atmosphere below street level. The whole Branzino is our go to dish. The quality of the fish is superb (compared to a standard Thai casual restaurant.) The quality of the cocktails is excellent as well with a full bar area.

The restaurant is in an odd location, but once you find it you're in for a very pleasant experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming. Our waiter was especially funny and had us laughing a few times. But the star of the show is the food. The pork meatballs are a must! We ordered a bunch of different things and everything was so savory and the portions were delicious. This place is going on my "favorites" list, and I'll definitely be back.

Love love love Wayla! Def can’t wait to go back! The spring rolls delish! The coconut Curry chicken was amazing! Dont know what’s in that broth but it was so yummy! The meatballs were good not great…was expecting more flavor given the reviews. But loved it all…great vibe/ambiance/music wait staff super accommodating, what a gem!!

Food was mediocre but vibes and decor of the restaurant is quite nice. The service was decent as well. Moo sarong was a bit salty, khao pad pu wasn’t great and the fact that they used oat milk in their Cha nom yen by default (understandable as a substitute option) wasn’t impressive.

There is nothing special about this place. We were seated at the coffee shop next door, which was kind of weird. We got the wings and the spring rolls as appetisers and they were just okay. We were excited about the lobster noodles but were disappointed with the taste and smell. Surprisingly, our favorite thing we ate were the brussel sprouts that we just ordered to have some vegetables on the side. Overall, everything was overpriced and not that tasty. The service stuff was nice though, but that was not enough to make the experience worth it. Based on the reviews, I thought this would be the best Thai place in the city but I have eaten much better Thai elsewhere and for much less. I don’t recommend this place.

When I say that this place BLEW me away - I have not stopped dreaming of the food since I left. I shared the lobster noodles and crab fried rice with my boyfriend and we both left feeling very full. Portions are super generous and it was the most amazing Thai food I have ever had. If you go there be sure to get the lobster noodles, they are unlike any other dish I’ve tried. I can’t wait to go back and order more stuff from the menu!

I ate at Wayla last night and it was delish. We ordered the chicken spring rolls, wok fried shrimp, steak, and veggie fried rice. Everything was delicious, however, the wok fried shrimp was impossibly spicy. Delicious but really spicy. The waitress warned us and all so it was expected and now I am warning you in case your server does not. I love spicy food. I can tolerate most spice. This shrimp was 12/10 spicy so just prepare yourself. Steak was amazing. Fried rice was amazing. I wish I could have tried more dishes. Service was iffy and we sat in the sidewalk hut and it was really cold. I wish they had a better heater out there. Will go back and eat inside!
