I get these dumplings once a week during my afternoon commute and low key I look forward to it the whole week. Some of the best dumplings around.
Two words. VERY BAD. Tried the sampler. Veggie + Chicken + Shrimp/Egg were flavorless. Shrimp/Chive too salty. Thick “Shanghai style” wrapper. For $7.99, they should give you the chili oil for free versus charging extra $1. The soy sauce, although skimpy, was the best part of the meal. The cashier only gave me 2 dumplings. Had to go back to point this out and she didn’t even apologize. STAY AWAY. Stick with Cantonese dumplings. If you cannot go to Chinatown or Flushing, check out Dimsum Palace with several locations in the city. Miss Zai Lai, formerly in the same space. If in the Turnstyle Underground Market and hungry on your way home, get an empanada @ Criollas.
Located underneath columbus circle. Its well maintained and hygienic. Tried chicken dumplings, and taste was good. They had few varieties, including pan seared and fried versions.
Great dumplings and delightful people running the stall!
Average but overpriced dumplings. I wonder why as they appear to be handmade by aunties on the spot.
