Friendly and welcoming, good for small gatherings.
When you walk into a place like this, it will either become your new favorite beer bar or it will shatter all of your illusions. Overall the beer selection was uninspired. Everything we drank kind of tasted the same. We had a few rounds and didn't find anything we liked. Nonetheless, we thought the place had the scrappy appeal of service industry veterans who perhaps thought they could do better than their previous employers. We were looking forward to coming back, bringing friends, etc. We were surprised at checkout by an undisclosed $2/can corkage. Kind of galling what with the pretense and lack of followthrough on substance. Especially during happy hour in an empty bar. The owner got cagey and weird when I asked about it, and seemed pretty clear that if I didn't like it I could go elsewhere.
I truly enjoy coming here. Staff is great and knowledgeable. Bands play on Thursday night during summer. Outdoor seating is great. Cheers
Not really much of a bar per se it's nice it's clean but they wanted to charge me like $2 more if I drank on the premises as opposed to go. I've never ever heard of that before. They have an interesting selection but I've actually seen better selections elsewhere and they don't have some of the local brewerys represented they also don't didn't have any dark beers on tap which I thought was odd.
