Food was great, but sadly the service was not. Arrived 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and they accepted my party without telling us that there was a reservation for the same table at 6:45. They served us our last dishes at 6:30 and, at the same time, told us we would have to finish everything in 15 mins and leave.

Came highly recommended and to be honest, wasn't that special in my opinion. Not bad at all, but nothing to go out of your way for or worth the semi-premium price tag.

Bad service. Waited for a long time even with reservation. Server showed a bad attitude when serving food. Nobody cared how we feel about the food. They just want to rush us out of the place.

Had a great meal here for the first time. Everything tasted great and will try other dishes next time.

Leichi is one of the few genuine Japanese restaurants in the South Bay that emphasizes fresh quality ingredients and utilizes the whole Japanese palate of flavors such as shiso, ume and wasabi. I believe would be on par with top Japanese restaurants in SF, LA or any metropolitan city in the US in this price range.

Great authentic Japanese food. Soba, tofu, and even the soy sauce made on site!
