Le Colonial Houston

This is one of our favorite restaurants. We had the pleasure of having Josh as our server. He is amazing and gave great recommendations. He made our time enjoyable with his service. We went again for my Bday and asked if Josh was working when we walked in and they said yes. I just assumed because I asked about him that we would be seated in his section. We did not. Though very good service it was not on the same level as Josh. This particular visit we had the Chilled Shrimp Roll & pan Seared Chicken Dumplings for appetizer and they were amazing. I love spicy food and I went with my old stand by Cari Tom. Delicious.

Awful experience. They have red headed male at front that is very rude and unprofessional. The hostess looks like Golden Coral buffet reject. The manger also was very rude and hung up the phone after I voiced a complaint. If they hire low level people employees like this, then this place is going into the dumps. Do not eat here. The food is awful as well. Lua Viet is much better option for Vietnamese food.

Brian was fantastic. Food was great. Experience was stellar. I would recommend the apps and bu luc lac. Vibes are on point, great hospitality

Unfortunately I have to say that my experience during lunch is very different from dinner, the food is very good as always but the service is much to be desired, I had to ask several times to be served sparkling water, then the waiter did not know the menu, and I love Le Colonial is one of my favorite restaurants. But I feel very disappointed.

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I made accommodations to visit this restaurant only to be met with piss poor customer service from the time we were NOT greeted upon entrance to check in on our reservation. The horrible manager Ezra came by my table once to assure that our experience would be great and he never came back by the entire night to follow-up! The only thing offered was a complimentary Creme Brulee which is a dessert that I detest. The manager never came back by to see if things were ok and when I called back after leaving dinner. Emily, the Assistant General Manager, made up every excuse in the book for the shotty service we did NOT receive. We will never make plans to visit this restaurant again and I suggest you don't waste your time either.

Service is great. I like the appetizers but not as many of the main courses seem appealing.
