Outstanding meal. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. We were booked for a pre-show dinner on a Wednesday evening. They confirmed our show time before we ordered, and we were able to enjoy three courses and get out with plenty of time, all while not feeling rushed. The food from bread service to dessert was excellent. Our server recommended a different preparation to the fish than was on the menu, and it was delicious. The prices are what you'd expect for a quality meal in the theatre district. High, but I think justifiable for the quality, which is more than you can say for some of the area restaurants. I thought the wine prices, particularly the by the glass prices, were a little too high, but the rest of the experience and dinner was so very good in the end I didn't mind too much.
My wife and I were looking forward to a lovely dinner before our show. Atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. A very loud waiter was not in tune with the environment. He appeared very monotone with a dominant voice. We ordered the pear and Parmesan salad which was refreshing and ok. I had the veal Scaloppini which had no Marsala taste. The sauce was quite bland. My wife had the fettuccine ragu which was like a watered down bolognaise made from mince not beef ragu. So really disappointing meal and ambience spoilt by loud waiter. We won’t be back unfortunately.
Went to see Moulin Rogue which was amazing. this was the perfect ending to a perfect day from the minute we walked in. The hostess was the sweetest thing. Our waiter was great and the bus boys and servers were Extremely polite. The food was delicious. We had The Capri salad as an appetizer along with the artichokes and arugula salad. Not one thing was not delicious, then. The waiter recommended the Lasagna special, which was very good. And my daughter got penne vodka which was delicious and my mother's carbonara was amazing.next play definitely going back. Parking: Parking garage was a few feet away.
Me and my wife were looking forward to an intimate and quiet dinner and were excited to have dinner here. The server was very unprofessional calling my wife names like princess and being very loud. The Albanian man was so loud and casual that we requested to move to a quieter section of the restaurant and still we heard him. The food was nothing special, we ordered 1 bottle of amarone, 2 appetizers,2 pastas and a seafood platter. We will not be returning nor would we recommend sadly I give 2 stars because the second server was a lot more professional. I also work in the hospitality industry and it left a distasteful note. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN INTIMATE DINNING GOOD EXPERIENCE STAY CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION.
Perfect place to enjoy very good italian food in a very nice atmosphere while in the center of New York, just 10 minutes walking from Times Square. The staff and in particular the host Alessandro is very attentive to your needs in terms of food and wine. A must not to be missed while visiting New York wether on holiday or business trip.
Celebrated my 5 year wedding anniversary here and words can't describe how happy and delicious this restaurant is. The drinks, appetizers, entrees, and the service was all top notch. A must go for a family/friend gathering and special dates.
Lattanzi is a lovely, cozy Italian restaurant on “Restaurant Row”! I felt like I was dining in Italy…they offer a variety of options, and the choices we made were excellent. The crispy flatbread with other breads accompanied with dipping oil is first offered…yum. I chose artichoke gnocchi in an Alfredo sauce, and it melted in my mouth. With the overwhelming number of restaurants on the street, Lattanzi is a primo destination!
A great place for pretheater dinner. They are very aficiant to serve you a meal in time. Very tasty food!!
