I really enjoy their soup, De Gallina. The rice they serve alongside the chicken is very tasty. Their service is great, and they're always so busy. The pupusas weren't so good to me, they tasted a bit raw, but the soup is my favorite! That's my reason to keep coming back!
I've been coming here for years but finally leaving a review. Service is great and the food's consistent! One of the few affordable and filling options still around!
Un lugar siempre limpio y el ambiente agradable con el personal siempre atento y amable y la comida ni se diga, deliciosa.
Customer service is amazing! Food is fantastic
Best pupusas very delicious
Being from San Francisco, I'm accustomed to having a wide array of easily accessible authentic restaurants from which to choose; but, unfortunately (for me that is ) I have not experienced that same here in Sacramento. With that being explained - let's talk about the subject at hand - FOOD!! well...actually YUMMY FOOD !! More specifically -- POPUSA'S (yummy food originally from El Salvador) I have been looking for an authentic POPUSERIA restaurant in the Sacramento area and although this one does seem authentic and the customer service we received was very good ( hence the 5 stars). The taste of the POPUSAS as well as the rice and beans were lacking. Honestly, there was nothing severely wrong with the food, it was just overall pretty bland which is why I gave it the 3 stars. In closing - Ive been told I can be too "wordy" explaining things at times, even so far as to be called a "scatter-brain" .. So I do appreciate the time you took to read it over and I sincerely hope it was a bit helpful at least !! I read over any comments and answer questions ..so i will surely respond if needed. Thankyou!! Parking: Right in front!
The pupusas are no joke. Beans, pork, chicken, cheese, all of the above. Low key spot with ice cold drinks, light groceries, and very solid food.
