Don't order the chicken piccata. It is not good. It's basically boiled whole chicken breast with lemon juice and butter squeezed on top. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she commented that we had eaten part of it. Well, yeah, we tried it and gave it a shot but two thirds is still on the plate. Made us feel like we were trying to get away with something and not welcome. Everything else frankly was great, and I could overlook one dish but the waitress's attitude spoiled the whole meal.
Recently went for a birthday dinner of 7. Was so special. Service was great Atmosphere is fabulous. I would definitely put in the romantic dinner for 2 category. So if you want that special evening, and like great food, this is the place. Full bar, good wine selection. Family owned and they are enjoying it. A must try. Had the mushroom ravioli special. Salmon Escargot Garlic potatoe appetizer Yum I will Definitely dine here again and look forward to it!
there's something stinky tho I don't know what it is.
A hidden gem! We enjoy fine dining and sought to try something new. L' Aperitif was a pleasant surprise! Extensive wine & bar list, diverse menu options, delightful service, and an atmosphere that made me feel like I walked into a five star restaurant in Manhattan. Just for fun, we went all out! Round one we tried cosmos, a tuna appetizer, and two different salads. They were all delicious! Round two we had wine from Germany & France, lobster risotto, and the giant tomahawk steak- both tantalizing dinners. We took half home to enjoy the next day. Our dog LOVED the tomahawk bone! Great experience! We plan to go back and try pastas and more wines. Thank you Chief Tom & family! Vegetarian options: A mushroom ravioli, many vegetarian tapas, and salads, were available. As a pescatarian, there were many more options!
Staff is friendly. Food is amazing and a bit expensive. But top notch in all dishes. We ordered a few tapas and them share the Tomahawk steak.
