La Hoya Mexican Food

What mexican restaurant doesn't offer chips and salsa when you dine in? This one doesn't. I ordered tacos and posole and I was very disappointed. Told them no onions and they put onions in my tacos and with my posole. The tacos were super salty and chicken posole had a weird taste. Wayyyyy over priced for the quality food. I originally went to Los Cuates but sadly they weren't open to day so I had to settle for this place. Never again will I come here.

The food is good, but lacking customer service quality. They were also extremely slow in the kitchen. The prices are a bit on the high end.

No lo puedo creer. Ordene por Uber eats y no me dio opción para agregarle frijoles a mi pambaso. Llamé momentos después de ordenarlo para pedir unos frijolitos en mi torta! La señorita que contesto, sin iniciativa me aseguro que lo tengo que pedir en línea y imagínate que no me pudo dar una embarrada de frijoles voy a venir a trabajar aquí nadamas para enseñarle como se trata bien a un cliente! . Well, I went here, and the woman taking my order didn’t speak English, so a man came out from the kitchen, and did speak English. Thank goodness because I don’t speak Spanish. I couldn’t read the menu because it was in Spanish, so I asked the gentleman if I could have a chicken burrito with beans, rice, chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and salsa. He said no problem and went to the kitchen to cook it. I ordered two. It took a while to make it so I ordered some chips and salsa, I was charged $2.55 and when I asked it to go when my food came after maybe four chips, they said no problem and put it in a container for me. Great lovely, right, when I got home one of the burritos I had rice and beef that was it. The other burrito had rice and tomatoes no meat, no cheese no lettuce no tomatoes no nothing on either one. When I went to eat my chips and salsa, the chips were there but there was no salsa. I’ve got to say I’m very disappointed and maybe it was my fault not being able to speak Spanish, however, when the gentleman did come out from the kitchen and spoke great English, I thought we were communicating correctly. I’m not sure what happened but I didn’t get what I ordered and I ended up paying $20 for two very small burritos and some chips and four bites of salsa. To say I’m disappointed it is an understatement.
