I normally dont write reviews.. but i think for safety, people should know.. I ordered a chicken burrito, it was yummy, until I bit into a metal shaving. I had the meal delivered. I called, and they did say I could drive to the restaurant to exchange for another chicken burrito.. and they said the metal must have come from the dishes. That doesn't make sense to me. I hope that I didn't eat any metal shaving and not realize it. I won't be ordering from here again.
Muy buen lugar para relajarte y convivir con la familia. Y buen lugar para ver los partidos de la NFL.
Excellent Mexican food & service!!
Food came to the table luke warm like it had been sitting for awhile. She took our plates back to the kitchen to re warm them. We got them back a few minutes later and temperature was the same. My best friend and I were the only two patrons inside. The chips and salsa were ok. I won't go back.
I am the daughter of the original owner of La Fonda on 38th and have always had very good food at that location. I live in Lakewood and this location is close to me and I thought I would order some food and try it out. My husbands La Fonda burrito was “okay” the meat lacked flavor. I ordered the Molcajete Carnes and was shocked to see bell peppers, radishes and sliced cucumbers at the bottom of the box and one small tiny piece of chorizo along with a very small portion of lettuce, beans, pico and guacamole and sour cream! It was pathetic to say the least! I won’t be returning to this location. However Panaderia Rodriguez on Alameda who is also owned by the same owner I have never had any problems when ordering food from there.
Had a great lunch! I ordered a Mexican Hamburger, my friend ordered enchiladas. We had perfect timing too, beat the crowd.
I’ve been going to La Fondas since I’ve been a kid and love their food. Their green chile is delicious, and love everything on their menu!
