La Dolce Vita

This was by far the best Italian food I have ever had! From the appetizer of shrimp and calamari and the eggplant rolatini was amazing, the pasta was homemade and so fresh! We had the Lasagna bolognese And the seafood pasta, so delicious. The bread is homemade the wine selection is great and the desserts were to die for will definitely be back and Tina is an amazing hostess.

Delicious food, great service, yummy lemon cello

Our first visit was last night and we will be repeat customers. The food was delicious. You must visit La Dolce Vita. You won’t regret it. We had a most enjoyable evening and you will too.

This is a gem of authentic Italian food in a relaxed setting. Everything is fresh and delicious as prepared by Chef Mauro and served by his family. His friendly wife Tina runs the front of the house and is a terrific baker. The fig torte was fantastic and we loved the limoncello, an old family recipe. We had a great time and look forward to going back.

If you want authentic Italian food, this is the place to go in Sarasota. Everything was fantastic, from the meals each of us ordered (group of 8), to the service, the greeting by the owner, the timing of everything, and the dessert, which was over the top! Buono!!
