Possibly the best Mexican food within at least a one mile radius, and still inexpensive. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant, so some miscommunication is possible, supposing a customer lacks fluency in Spanish. There are a hifh available dishes, including a variety of excellent tacos in the $3.50 to $4.00 range (eg, asada/steak, pollo/chicken, lengua/tongue, cabeza/cow-head, chorizo, fish, shrimp.) Tables seem to come with complimentary chips and salsa. More tortilla chips should come if ordering the excellent queso dip (cheese dip), although you could be stuck with like a jumbo $7.00 jump bowl if you're not careful. Establishment serves alcohol and can potentially get loud in the evenings; or at least on karaoke night (Sundays.) Kid-friendliness: There' a kids menu available; although the atmosphere probably grows increasingly for adults at night.
