We went for a dinner before our event last night. Aside from the stunning views people who work there are truly amazing! Absolutely sweet, gracious and thoughtful hostess - she called to check on our arrival and helped us navigate to the valet via phone (it’s tricky for those who don’t live in DTLA). The waiters are very attentive, delicate and at the same time not invasive (hallelujah!!). They didn’t interrupt our dinner with countless questions and check-ins. Instead, they checked on us once and for the remainder of the dinner were keeping an eye on us from afar always approaching the moment one of us looked up for them. The food was fresh, delicious and served fast. Even though, we were among the first customers the restaurant filled up with the guests very quickly - we were there on Saturday evening and that’s the busiest time of the week. Overall, we left the restaurant nicely impressed, happy and determined to come back! Thanks again to the hostess, who also offered us a table with a view! I believe it was because of her humble kindness that our night was set up to be magnificent from the moment we set foot in La Boucherie! ✨

Mediocre food, noisy vibe, inexperienced server, wrong order. First, I would not recommend here at all. For the price, you can definitely go to better place. I spent $338 on food and the steak came out cold.. the servers were not so friendly. The guy took wrong order of my food and told me that it is the correct order. When I received my check, they charged me 11.2% sales tax when the correct amount is 10.25%. After talking to the manager, they gave me discount of $33.40 (10.25%) and told me she couldn't find the reason... so they are overcharging all the customers and scamming them. Make sure to avoid here.

I got prime short ribs and while it was impressive that the ribs were super tender to the point where I didn’t even need a knife, the way it just fell apart at the slight touch of my fork wasn’t so nice. I just think the food here needs more flavor, definitely more salt. I had to constantly add some to my ribs and the way the salt is presented here made it quite hard to sprinkle it over the meat. I liked the sauce on my ribs but the little grains around the dish kind of ruined it a bit but I was lucky to find the good spots with sauce free of grains when I cut the middle of the dish. The potato was great, liked the presentation of it! The view was great too, definitely formal Pinterest worthy. Service was good, a bit overwhelming at times and kind of scary how obvious it was that the workers were watching us eat.

La Boucherie is a high end restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. It is on a 71st floor as part of InterContinental Hotel. The dining room setting is elegant and the city night view is beautiful. I had dinner there on a Sunday night. Sitting next to the window, the evening was wonderful. The service was acceptable although I had to ask a busboy to find my servers for 10+ minutes. The Charred Spanish Octopus was tender and very well done. Well, the Crisp Brussels Sprout Petals was oily and unimpressive. The Baked Oysters aka La Boucherie was under baked and lacked the expected blue cheese favor. The A5 Wagyu Striplion was most disappointed; the presentation was plain and is my worst A5 Wagyu experience. The Chocolate Soufflé was nicely done. I would come back even just for the Charred Octopus and the views.

Wonderful place! My husband surprised me with me starlight booth dinner and wow it was such an amazing experience. Our sever Joaquin went above and beyond to make our dinner that much better. Food was tasty and high quality, atmosphere was very intimate. Cocktails delicious! Will definitely be coming back!
