I probably had the best brisket I have ever had while eating here. Every piece of meat I had was just amazing, everything was cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. Even though the wait to order was long, it was definitely worth it. The restaurant is part of a street that is filled with art which makes it a great place to look around. Overall, I had a great time here and the food was beyond amazing. I would totally recommend this place if you are looking for some great barbecue. -Siena, 11 years
This place was the best of the best , service, food, containers to go … price was on the point for the food and service . Wonderful people give them a 200%
We probably shouldn't have tried this after Franklin, but it doesn't compare. You wait in line and then they only let one party in at a time to order. It's very inefficient. That's how you create a line like Franklin's without there being an actual need for the line. Somehow, we had less food but were charged more than our order at Franklin. The bathrooms are super dark, and the music is migraine inducing loud in there. They sauce their ribs, which we don't prefer. We're now fighting over you has to eat the leftovers since it was meh but don't like to waste food.
Never disappoints. Great brisket, sausages, and shells and cheese. Pickled sides are also fantastic. Line moves pretty quickly compared to some other places. However, recommend arriving closer to when they open.
Arriving at 3pm, they were sold out of Sliced and Chopped Beef Brisket, Jalapeno Sausage, and Pork Ribs. That's what I get for a late arrival. But the traditional sausage and Pulled Pork sandwich were spot on! I will need to come back for the Pork Ribs! 1/2 pound is equal to 2 pork spareribs! I'm sure they're good
Good BBQ, One of the best places in Austin, nice brisket, very good ribs and sides
It’s ok. Too much pepper not enough smoke.
