This was easily one of the top 5 places to eat near campus when it was left wing. Now they’ve seemingly changed the recipe for some things and it doesn’t taste good. The chicken isn’t as crispy and tastes extra greasy/soggy. I’m not sure why they changed it but as a former loyal customer I’d more than appreciate having my favorite fried chicken place back. During covid this place was my go to when I didn’t feel like cooking but wanted great food, that’s why it’s so upsetting to see what it’s become.
I've eaten here 3 times. 1 of those 3 times was fantastic, but the other 2 were bad for different reasons. 1 time, the chicken was over-fried, so it was too dry instead of juicy in the middle. 1 time half the lettuce was rotting; I had to throw the order away. I wish they could be more consistent because the 1 time when everything went well, it was great.
great chicken, nice soft crispy tender chicken. the guy who took my order, glasses, looks like gerard way. thank you chicken shack i will be back.
Their service is too slow for what they’re making. You can see in the window of the kitchen, and I sat watching the staff playing on their phones and not cooking my food for more than 10 minutes
Delicious fried chicken/wings at a fraction of the price of Pluckers. Make sure to order from the Snackpass app and not Seamless. Snackpass has the whole menu and is cheaper.
My friend loves it but to me the crisp is not crispy but hard to chew
