Had been wanting to try the fried chicken wings. Finally gave it a go and all I can say is that being disappointed is an understatement. I got the Nashville hot. There wasn't any heat whatsoever. No flavor, tasted like unseasoned chicken dipped in an unseasoned batter then fried. The only upside was how crispy the chicken was. Let's not even mention the price for the 12 wings and fries which infuriated me because I spent $26-$27 for some wings and fries that I honestly didn't even want to eat anymore. If I happen to frequent this establishment again, sure won't be for the wings. I'm a wings kinda guy- I even travel to different restaurants just to try their wings and this is a big miss.
We went on a Friday night. Food has gone down hill since King of the Coop first started. Attention to detail and quality isn’t what it once was. Mac n cheese is different. Food was not fresh and very average.
This place when it 1st open was spectacular I don't know what happened but, now I will not even go there. Prices have gone up like everywhere else. Unfortunately the quality has gone WAY down as well. Everything has changed from the breading on the chicken to the mac n cheese. Good luck with your order too, better check it before you leave if you ordered takeout 50/50 it's right. I'm giving to stars based on what it use to be.
Food is always ready when I get there
Great place food is good and people are friendly
Fun,crazy, funky and damn good chicken!!! Kid-friendliness: Nice bunch of folks, granddaughters had a great time.
Enjoyed the homemade juice and I like the sandwich a lot. The spice levels don't really seem true, though, because I ate midway and hot and original without any change in heat, honestly. Coleslaw and pickles are definitely a no in my opinion, flavor profile just wasn't for me personally its obviouslyin house made, definitely tastes different than standard. I did like the bowl with everything in pretty well.
